My New Birthday. Day Zero

Today, I will be experiencing a new birth of sorts. I will get my brand new immune system this afternoon. All should go well in my new beginning.

    It’s been a few years since I experienced “Day Zero.” The actual infusion of the stem cells took place over two days for me. I remember feeling pretty yucky as they were pumping those things in, and I think that’s why they had me come in for a second day. That time, they sedated me. It was pretty uncomfortable. How did it go for you?
